Master Herb Cody is the owner and founder of the Sonoma County Martial Arts Center which was established over 28 years ago in 1983.  Master Cody became the youngest World Champion professional fighter in history at the age of 17 winning the honors in the Republic of China in 1975.  Master Cody has trained eight professional fighters to become World Champions. 

     Master Cody earned the status honor of Master in Kenpo Karate in the Republic of China.  Master Cody is also a certified instructor in the art of Escrima.  Master Cody also trained the USA Thai Boxing team for the World Games in Taiwan 1986.

The USA Team returned home from Taiwan with the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.   Master Cody has been featured in several       martial arts magazines such as: Black Belt, Inside Kung Fu, And Karate Illustrated.  Master Cody is also a scholar in the studies of the arts of Chinese medicine.  There are very few  martial artists in the world with the qualifications of Master Herb Cody.
